Dappled Day With the Sycamores
Oil on Panel
16"x20"
The Indiana Sycamores that grow in the area where I live are quite distinctive. Their growth started many years ago along the White River and because of the density, grew tall and straight before ever branching out. The result can be seen here in my neighbors yard. They are bone white at the top and have the most beautiful colors of bark. An Indiana classic.

TC Steele Gardens
Oil on Panel
16"x20"
This was the painting I did for the May Paintout at the TC Steele Gardens. It was a great, sunny day painting with over 100 painters. This is the small building just south of the house. The painting was awarded 2nd place in the oil painting division.

This is a painting completed at the New Harmony First Brush of Spring. One of my favorite painting spots. The April event was fun and felt like Summer after our very warm March.

Flower Garden in New Harmony
Oil on Panel
12"x16"
This was the painting I did on the last day of the New Harmony Paintout, First Brush of Spring. It was a beautiful area looking over the flower gardens. Because of the warm Indiana March, many of the Spring flowers were blooming early.
